Started to polish my Motorhome!

Been lurking this section, but now I have something to post!
The clearcoat is long gone, and I have no choice but to join you all "On the Bright Side"!
Collected my basic supplies...
HF Buffer and pads...

Found a used, but good Cyclo on CL!

Now I was ready...
Its gonna be a slow and spotty job, as I have much else to restore, but I started with a storage Drawer repair. I thought it made no sense to put it back with the ugly paint still on it...

Ready to go... I noticed that this panel is labeled as being 6061 T6 Aluminum.

Compounded with G6..

After G6 with the Cyclo..

Its not perfect, has some scratches, but so much better!

Now I had to try the first piece of the Motorhome....

The PO had already stripped and sanded the front quarter... I was scared..

15 mins with the Compounder, and it was much better...

More pics, but a long way to go!

Yesterday...
I stripped the Black painted area on the front... what a pain that was!
Several layers of different types of paint!
Also, stripped another 2 panels ready to get some shine on it!
Pretty much finished the Storage Drawer. Gave the inside and outside 2 coats of Herculiner.

Keyair, did you only use the G6 and which buffer did you use the new one you purchased or the cyclo?

Only used the G6 so far... On the Drawer, I tried G6 or a foam pad on the Cyclo.
Only used the Compounder with the wool pad on the M/H so far...
Lots to do!
