There is a product out there, just don't know at this point how the average guy gets it?

"Dura-Bright® is not a coating, but a surface treatment that penetrates the aluminum and becomes an integral part of the wheel. It will not chip, crack, peel or corrode, like conventional coatings do. These wheels do not need polishing. Regular washing with soap and water will keep them shiny, even after hundreds of washes and thousands of miles".

Hey Keyair, what was the result of your front grill project...I need to do mine. I was also thinking of an aluminum powdercoat on everything, then mask off and paint the rest dark grey. Sebastian

I stripped the clear coat off my 280 and waxed it polish. Found some striping on EBAY and added that to cover the old woodgrain...

Your polished Moho will look great.

Hi Peeps,
Well, those of you that follow my main thread will know that the AS is kinda on the back burner due to an eye issue I am having.

I have not done much as a result.
The one thing I do know is that the grill and headlamp castings as well as badges are not holding up well, and will need a better solution than polish and wax.

Here is how the grill casting look after a few months...

Is it possible to clear coat it like the pros do?

How are the peepers doing? I miss reading your thread very motivating!
