Yes, I have tryed the old Glass Wax (pink can) and Gel-Gloss (pink can) at the same time. I would say that they are equal when removing the black residue from polishing, especially around the rivets and seams, it literally dissolves the black residue with one light swipe with the microfiber cloth perfect.......

Thanks Toastie for the feedback on the Gel-Gloss. I'll be ordering some tonight. You're removing residue "especially around the rivets and seams" comment was the clincher. I've ruined every fingernail trying to get in there.

This polishing thing is certainly a learn-more-as-you-go process for me.

Check it out here Polishing Cloth the package of 12 is the way to go, these are the best by far........

Costco sells a similar pack of at least 12 microfiber cloths for about $10 - they aren't big enough to use as "cyclo-wraps" but for all the hand work around rivets and day-to-day maintanace they work great! Super soft & they don't scratch ~

I have used them on a cyclo, you have to turn them Katy-corner and hold by the corners. Not ideal, but I did my whole trailer that way. I used cotton towels and micro-fiber towels, both from Costco.
