skin oxidation and red letter residue remover/ it works

My 71 ,when I got it, had some really, really bad skin oxidation from being parked in a field for 20+ years and tree branches rubbing back and forth against it with the wind.

It also had 36 year old Wally residue from the WBCCI logo and numbers.

I have tried various forms of goo remover and so far nothing worked very well.

Today I tried "World Famous COLONEL BRASSY industrial strength metal cleaner and polish" I got it right next door at the Estancia auto parts store. You still have to add elbow grease but this worked so good I thought I would pass this on. You may have noticed my above description is in the past tense.

Also, it's not stinky and no dangerous chemical warning.
