Silver Dog House Gets a Bath

She was snarling and all 25' of her didn't give in without a fight. She cut me, amost made me fall off the ladder while I was hosing her down and I think she even tried to bite me. In the end she was scrubbed, hosed down and left with a shine on her coat. Errr, she is shedding a little on the top though.

Seriously, although we have had some heavy rains for a couple of days, even snow mixed in, it sure was nice to give her a bath in preparation for the Hiawassee, GA. rally. Even the tow vehicle was washed this evening. Three days and counting.

That's funny, Craig, and definitely an appropriate analogy for some cases! Thankfully you prevailed. I hope you have a wonderful rally!

Sounds like your "Dog House" fought back more than my K9s did during their bath yesterday.

My oh my! What did she roll in to get so dirty? They do that just so they blend in with their surroundings, ya know. It's a stealth/undercover thing.

(Hubby suggests maybe it rolled in a motor home)

First she rolled in the pollen and seeds off the neighbor's tree. Then she sat there for 2 weeks at the hunting camp while people drove past kicking up dust. During this time, a desk jockey started a fire upwind which (you guessed it) brought all the ashes toward, around and inside the trailer. I couldn't understand it, he's a young firefighter from Ohio. I think they will move the fire a little farther out next time. Nice folks, mother, father, daughter and her firefighter fiance. Really.
