Removing road salt oxidation?

I had to move my 31 sovereign in a light snow storm here in Colorado and it was too cold to wash immediately afterward. The road grime day on the front quarter panels for a week or so til I could wash it. Meanwhile the salt made little hazy spots in the polished finish. Is there anything else I should clean it with besides the griot's wash such as vinegar? Or do I just have a date with some nuvite and my cyclo?
