questions after using 'gravel in a bottle' removing the swirls...

I was unlucky enough to have a trailer without a clearcoat and MAJOR corrosion/rust/pits/you name it. I tried all the Nuvites and nothing would remove the oxidation. Another member suggested gravel in a bottle by 3M and sure enough it removed all oxidation... however leaves some nasty swirls. I have tried compounding with F9 followed by F7 and C but I am still seeing a large amount of swirls... nothing like you do after the 3m cut but probably more than if i had only used the nuvite series.

What do you guys suggest to try next or is it normal to see the swirls left by F7 or C before trying the cyclo?

thanks in advance!

It's going to be normal to see swirls, the key is to keep making them finer and finer. Have you tried the cyclo on an area to see how it does on the swirls?
Read up on it, Top ( do a search here for a member named Top)has some videos on his method and his polish jobs are among some of the best. Good luck and keep trying different things. Mike
