Polishing problems

Has anyone used Blue Magic polishing paste?I'm havingsome issues with it. It is supposed to be a one product does all, does'nt seem to be cutting deep enough. I have a 1974 that is really not in bad shape, but after polishing it still shows alot of orange peel shine. If anyone wants to give me a call I would be very appreciative. Thanks much.

Hey Vern

Ready to go at it again eh?

I need to break out the cyclo as well for my spring touch up. It finally stopped raining here so now I have a few weeks before it gets too hot to polish

Keep the shine going!

We have just started to buff our 1968 Airstream trailor. Oh what fun it is. My husband works on it every free minute. What kind of buffer do you recommend to use?? And what kind of compound do you like the best? Need some good advice. Got any?????

Mona go to www.VintageTrailer.com they have a 4 page print out on the whole process. Very helpful, and they also supply all the needed materials at what appear to be reasonable prices

I used the polish method from perfectpolish.com. It consits of nuvite polish in several grades, and using a half inch drill and wool bonet for a compounder followed up by a cyclo polisher.

Lots of work, but looks great!
