almost as dark...
so far no more is done as I hit the road a month ago, first for a Rally in NS with my unit, and now I am in Montreal in an campground. I have everything with me to go further I know my close neighbor well as every summer I take the same site but I don't feel that I can disturb them with such a process.
Though when I came in they thought I had a new unit...
Be sure I'll post new images ASAP.
Next week I may add a new gallery on my website with AS interiors shots.
So far my face (don't fall in love) and a taste of interiors.

How wonderful! does anyone think my 59 will need clearcoat removal? I get so excited to see all those silver twinkies lined up in a row like in Insideout's pic!!

Sure looks good!

Clearcoat was not offered as an option until 1964. So it is unlikely your 1959 trailer has it...it would have had to have been an after market addition by a previous owner.

So one less step you'll have to endure in your quest for a shiny twinky!

Can I do this???

We need to polish and redo the inside of our 85 Excella. Your thread gave me hope on the polishing, until I called to order some supplies. I am confused, and new to the RV scene. One place I called to order polishing supplies said an amatuer was unlikely to get good results (but he is in the refinishing business mainly, so maybe his view is tainted) . But, I see Duffs pictures and his look great- mirror shine (the airstream that is)! I was told mine had a matt finish(due to the year) and this type of shine is possible but not probable.

My husband and I do a lot of work on our house-tiled floors & backsplashes, installed fireplaces and built the mantle, put down hard wood floors, painted an entire new home,...so we can work.

So..am I correct to think we can do this, and if so, what exactly do I need to order? They owner at PerfectPolish was really nice, but only new for sure that a good result would be achieved on the real vintage airstreams with his products. Help me please!- Michele
