Polish: your preference?

Suggestions for a good polish for my Airstream?

Thanks, Lance

Welcome to the forum, Lmcour!

I think what the previous posters are trying to say is that polishing your trailer might be quite difficult. Airstream has changed the aluminum that they used for the exterior. While it is possible to get a mirror shine on an older unit with only a couple hundred hours of upper body workout with the cyclo polisher, it's much tougher to reach a shine on the modern trailers.

On my '07 I use Wolbernize once or twice a year. Very easy to apply and remove. I do it when water doesn't bead on the surface.

I believe on previous related threads I have seen people name products that they claim to be better (don't recall specifics, but a search may bring up the details) but I use Walbernize and am happy with it. I try to do our trailer at least once, usually twice, a year, and have also used this product on our truck and motorcycle.

Seems to do a good job and what I really appreciate about it is that even if under bright sun conditions - which I know are not good for waxing - the dried polish is easily buffed.

I have bought Walbernize at Jackson Centre, but I am sure other AS specific RV places carry it, and I think Walbernize has its own website.
