I have read some different opinions on Nuvite F7 versus C. My 80 Excella was highly polished, but after a year it has faded some, although still looks pretty shiny.
I want to bring it back up with the cyclo, and would buy either F7 or C and then S.
What is your experience with these grades? Would you go F7 then S an skip the C??
Cost is a factor at 45 dollars a jar too...

We use "C" & "S" after the initial polish. Both with the Cyclo unless there are new scratches from the time of the last polish. If there are new scratches, then we use the "C" and the compounder followed by the Cylco with "C" then "S". We only used the "F7" for the initial compounding.

that is where I was headed until I saw Perfect Polish says on their web site that F actually can be "finer" than C. Sure confused me on that.
Nothing else seems to get the shine back to where it was on this trailer, so I got a cyclo and I am getting ready to tackle it.

The thing with "F7" is it starts off coarser, but breaks down faster, whereas the "C" isn't as coarse but the particles also don't break down as quickly. The end result is a more consistent polish IMO with the "C"...not as big of a deal when compounding because you go over each area several times, but it is when using the Cyclo and only going over an area once or twice.

I also think temperature & humidity can make a difference...if you already have some of both, give them both a try and then see which you like better. If you have to order it - get 1/4lb of each then a 1lb of the one you like better in a second order. With your trailer being longer, you will probably use the extra 1/4lb. And you'll get the smaller jar to use while polishing - less likely that the whole lb. dries out or tips over....we always put some in a smaller container, rather than using it straight from the big jar.
