Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.
We waxed our 2005 Safari 25FB with car wax. We have had our 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB for a little over a years now. We have not waxed her yet. We've been too busy using her.

Hi from AZ. . . welcome to our group,. . . seem to be lots of ideas on waxing/protecting our toys. AS wants to sell you some Walbernize, my repair shop likes car wax too. Previous one used an aluminum specific wax. . .You're going to get a lot of suggestions, then decide for yourself. That's what we all do. . . welcome again & travel safe, Craig
Walbernize. It goes on easy, dries fast, and comes right off. I had my '69 23' done and ready for the winter in about an hour. Walbernize works on plastic, aluminum, and glass. I wear latex gloves and get the application towel saturated. Be sure to wash the trailer well before you wax it. I don't know if the newer Airstreams specify a different product.
P & S recommended Turtle Wax so that you get some UV protection. Their finish is not the same as factory new, but you will need UV protection in the blazing sun of the south to stop deterioration of the factory aluminum coating.

I've been using Turtle Wax ICE. It does not leave white residue behind and can be used on all surfaces. On our new AS, I found that I had to use two applications to get good coverage.
