Thumbs up Newbie's Guide to Polishing

I'm getting pretty confused about what my 1971 Caravel needs to get it looking good. Removing paint was a given, but now I have corrosion, scratches, and general patchy uneven-ness.

While trying to make sense or this Nuvite stuff everyone talks about, I came across a quick guide to polishing, WITH PICTURES . Not sure how good it is, but seems like a useful beginning.

Quick Guide to Polishing : Airplane Polish : Auto Detailing Supplies : Electric Car Polisher :

The same site has guides for application of Nuvite

Nuvite Application Guide :

among other things. And they sell the stuff too.
