Just started polishing the '79 Safari

This is after day one. I am hoping to be able to commit two 8 hour days a week to this project, and hopefully have it completed before the cold starts. Any helpful hints or tips would be greatly appreciated. I am using a yellow vented buffer with brown tripoli compound for the first cut and white vented buffer with white compound for the second cut.

Looks tremendous!
I know nothing about polishing but I would take off the marker lights so you can polish behind them, then caulk the holes before reinstalling the marker light. You may want to install some new LED marker lights to really set off the shine.

Thanks Steve,
I'm definitely gonna make the switch to LED running lights.
