Hindenburger's hidden beauty
Like an episode of "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe.... removing 50+ years of neglect with a polishing wheel and replacing it with a beautiful shine.... is a Dirty Job. Ask Bret...

Boy, I bet a good scrubbing in the shower felt pretty good after that day!
Oh, and your rig is looking great! Wanna come to Angel Fire and do ours?

WOW! Looks like someone's going to have to buff you up next. That's amazing to see what's been covered up for all those years.
Except I don't know if I would want to name anything after the Hindenburg, Titanic, or Challenger...just sayin'.

Curb side 1st cut
1st cut is completed on curb side. This was a 3-day job just to get through the first cut. Initial cut was done with a combination of black, red and white bars. Specific trouble areas will be revisited later with a combination of sand paper, bars & polish. We are attacking the street side next and then finish off the 1st cut on the roof. Once the 1st cut and trouble areas are completed we will transition to the cyclo for finishing.
Can you find Bret?

Love it! Those red wheels look really cool... what "system" are you using to polish with?

Ready for more
We are ready to put the cyclo to it now. Once it buffs out it will be a road hazard from the reflection..
We are taking her up to Nashville TN from Mobile AL on her maiden voyage next week. We will be based in Nashville for our food vending operations.
We loved polishing so much we have decided to offer our polishing services to other vintage AS owners in the area. We put an add in the classified section of Airforums. Yes...we have lost our minds... but we were almost there already.
Cheers,
Frank & Bret Norbury
