help with these stains

Hi Folks

As the subject matter experts on aluminum trailers I'm hoping you can help me..I have these stains on the top of my trailer. I have tried CLR, vinegar, mr magic sponges, and nothing seems to remove it..Hoping not to have to sand it.

Any thoughts on what else I could try. Any help would be appreciated

Cheers
Al

I would caution against using those Mr. Magic sponges. They have a fine ceramic abrasive that could give you more problems than you started with.
Just my opinion. Good luck with the stains.

I use it every year on my pontoon boat. It leave the pontoon with a nice brite white mat finish. This product is used on Aluminum tractor trailer tankers all the time.
I have and will never use this product on my Airstream because it is clearcoated.
You should be able to find it at a marine dealer or large truck service center. Cost should be around $20 US for a gallon which will be more than enough to clean your aluminum

Al, I saw the word acid used in the description of the Zing cleaner. I would be very careful in using it. Avoid runoff from over application. It also said to use on unpainted surfaces. I don't know what trailer you have but I think the clear coat of a newer trailer would likely put it in the "painted" category. If GMFL has used it on trailers, my advice is probably not necessary.
