Does anyone know an exterior restorer in the Okanogan?

Hello,
I am looking for a professional to strip and polish my '64 safari,
I live in Nelson BC, so any where within a few hours,
I thought there may be someone in or around Kelowna??
Anyone know of such a person?
Thank you!

You may want to check at the Kelowna airport to see if there's anyone there that does airplanes. I'm not sure if any of the other airports in your area would be large enough to have someone who does that. Also, check with the large transport companies - anyone who hauls milk or fuel - to see who polishes their tankers, they may have them done in the area but not sure. Also you may want to check local auto detailers who might be interested in doing it as a filler project to keep their staff busy between car jobs. Let me know if you don't have any success with those and in the meantime I'll ask around to see if any of my buds knows of anyone in your area that does it.

To the best of my knowledge, there are only about a dozen or so places that do plasticoating. I'm in the Ottawa area, and I've put a deposit on a 1989 Excella that has some of the finishing peeling off. On my last trip out with the LY, I passed through Helena OH (it's about 100km or so from Windsor ON) to a place called P & S Trailer Service. They advertise in the Blue Berret, and from what I've heard from other WBCCI members, they're recommended for refinishing.

As I said, I passed through Helena OH and dropped in there. They work on 3 units at a time, and have a 4-6 week lead time (wait). Steve Ruby, one of the owners, told me that it takes them a week to do a unit. He must have had about 75 units in his yard.

My plan is to take the Excella there as soon as I get it and leave it with him - he'll call me when it's ready. At the same time, I'll have Fantastic fans installed.
