The cost of professional polishing can vary significantly with factors such as region of the country where the work is being done, the condition of the Airstream's skin when polishing is begun, the experience of the firm/person doing the polishing, and whether the coach is to be Plasticoated as part of the process. In general, the cost falls somewhere between $150 and $275 per foot of coach length.
When I had my coach polished at P & S Trailer Service in Helena, Ohio, my cost was near the top of the range as the large curbside panel had some serious scratching from a prior owner's attempt at polishing that had to be addressed before a quality job could be completed . . . and my project also included Plasticoating.
