Completely covered in paint/bondo?!?

All,
I am looking for my first airstream and am hoping to find one that needs restoration. I have a candidate and I've checked out the undercarriage and the inside and all looks well. My biggest issue is the exterior. There is some damage in both top rear corners. They've been repaired with bondo. However, whoever worked on it appears to have painted the entire trailer in flat grey. They painted everything excluding the lights. EVERYTHING. Also, the paint looks to be close to 1/8 to 1/12 inch thick. Like a layer of something underneath the paint. My question is, is there a linear cost I can expect to pay (estimate of course) if I were to gut this thing and take it to a professional to properly restore the exterior? I know that there are a lot of variables in that question and I understand that "what lies underneath" is a major factor, but I'm just trying to get a rough idea. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Trailer type is unknown at this point. Early 70s. 22-26 feet.
