Canadian Napier and Nuvite suppliers

Thought I would toss this up for anyone trying to find the stripper and polish in Canada.

Napier from a company called Biowash in Vancouver... website is Paint remover, rust removal, glue remover, deck restoration, wood cleaner... by Napier

Click on the biowash link at the bottom and then nuvite.

ICI paint store would bring it in for me...near Ottawa for about 75$ per gallon.

Nuvite is supplied by the Minoo Corporation in Minoo Corporation- Nuvite (metal polish & drywash),Rymplecloth,Trade Financing, & Packaging look under aviation link and download data sheets.

The person to speak with is Ashok ... o-866-479-3700...c-416-723-4691. He is extremely friendly and helpful.

Hope this info is useful

as of oct.1 2009 the company that makes Napier has been sold and will no longer supply any product. While there may be some stock with suppliers, the product if available would be supplied by a company in south the shipping. Do not know if Canadian or American distributors will be restocking at this time. there have been some indications regarding this but nothing concrete at this time that I have been able to find. Airstream would have a lot more clout obtaining information if asked???

Thanks for the info - I'll probably be venturing into the stripping and polishing world sometime in the near future, so it's great that someone close by is checking into this.

I was assuming I'd have to pick stuff up in the States, where I seem to do much of my camping (upper NY State, Florida...)

It's kind of sad, but I almost always assume that I'll be getting my items, be it clothing, hardware, polishing compound, whatever... in the U.S. If the company doesn't ship to Canada, I have it shipped to Ogdensburg, NY and trot over to pick it up. Most products I want to buy are cheaper in the States. In fact, some Canadian-made products are cheaper if you have them shipped from Canada into the States, no lie. It's sad. I've ranted about this in the past, so I'll get off the soapbox now.

Thanks again for the info.
