Welcome! Check the exterior restoration forum. There's a lot of info there on polishing that you'll find useful.

Hello ontarioair -- Welcome to the forums! I still remember my first efforts at wanting to come up with participating posts without looking totally clueless. Careful what you ask for -- there's no pay for moderating but at least we got a 100% cost of living increase this year.

Welcome again -- you're doing alright!

Ok.... don't EVEN go there. I won't stand for a cut in my pay as a Moderator. I just WON'T !!! And I'm willing to bet that none of the other members of the Moderator Staff will either! If you even START talking about pay cuts, we'll start talking job action... we're a pretty militant bunch here! And don't talk about cutting benefits either... I'm tellin' ya... I know times are tough... but just don't go there!

ontarioair - Sorry, I've got to repair my own hijack.

Our search function works pretty well once you get used to its strengths. It searches best with only one word in the keyword field. Put stripper in as the keyword and you should be able to pick out the threads that pertain to your question.

As to where you can end up on final appearance. the shiniest Airstreams have the Alclad skins. Terry gives some pointers here - http://www.airforums.com/forums/f441...tml#post398090
