Black Marks

Hi, I'm new to the forum, so this is my first(of many) questions. I recently purchased a 1969 Globetrotter. Some of the alumminun panels have been replaced on it so they do not have a clear coat. The previous owner had covered the trailer with a plastic tarp which has left black marks on the metal. Short of polishing the metal, is there a quick and easy way to remove the marks.

Might be able to do it with a clear coat polish but pretty good chance there isn't an easy fix short of stripping and recoating or going naked and polising once a year.
