My son gave me a nice big beautiful chop saw for my birthday last year, and I just noticed that some Brachiosaurus must have left a dump last summer on the machined and polished aluminum table.
After considerable effort I got the dried cake off, but a big, dark black embedded stain remained, that just would not polish out.
Now I'm wondering what the roof of an A/S would look like, and if a clear coat is resistant enough to protect the skin?
Bird droppings are highly acidic and can eat through many finishes over time. Clear coat should inhibit damage from droppings but good to keep an eye on the unit and wash ASAP.
As for a polished unit, this is a enemy of the worst kind.
get a BB gun and keep you eyes peeled soldier, the enemy is lurking above, watch your twelve.
Thanks Smiley
I live in the woods. More birds here than in the Hitchcock thriller.
Dont know whats worse, bird droppings & sap, or chafing from a tarp.?
