I've searched the forums, but so far there have been few, if any, posts that identify a car wash product that is both biodegradable AND safe to use on aluminum. Simple Green's website recommends caution when using it's product on aluminum, and I've had so-so results using Dr. Bronner's soap in dilute form (left streaks). Any other suggestions?

My trailer picks up a lot of dust in storage and I feel that dirt--from anywhere, road, storage,--should be "floated off". I would be afraid of grinding the dirt in. I have never waxed/Walbernized my trailer. It looks good.
I don't know if it is the "dry heat" (AZ joke, sorta) but I never have to towel dry and I get no water spots. However I wash it in the very early a.m. in the summer.....5 a.m. to 7 a.m.
I use "Turtle wax,zip wax car wash" Works good and adds a little wax so most of the water just runs off + it's safe for aluminum and won't try to EAT the paint off like a couple of other "wash products" I tried...Brian
Not biodegradable, but Armor All Car Wash seems to work well for the past 4 years.

I use products from Biokleen and dish soap from Seventh generation in my home, so I use them on/in the trailer. They work great and are earth friendly. I also do a final rinse with diluted vinegar (for streaking). Works great!

I use Blue Coral Wash and Wax Concentrate.
It doesn't say if it's biodegradable but I've used it for the last two years and my AS looks new as it did when I picked it up. (if not better)
It washes away dirt and grime. is fortified with natural carnauba wax which protect from sun, rain, wind, ice and salt spray.
I wax it once a year and just started using Turtle wax ICE clear polish.

I use Mr.Clean car washing system. It comes in a blue and green plastic box. You hook it to a hose. It has a drying agent to stop water spots. Works very well on our trucks and the Airstream. Walmart sells it.
