Aluminum Cleaner and Brightener

Has anyone ever used this product after stripping the clear coat and before polishing?
Streak Master, Inc. - Aluminum Cleaner, Aluminum Cleaning, Black Streak Remover, Cleaners, and more.

I would think that you could use it INSTEAD of polishing! You may be able to get a good-looking skin without all the initial labor and perpetual maintenance of full-on polishing. Try some on a scrap piece of aluminum and let us know what it does....

Just tried the "brightener" at a truck wash. Does not look polished but sure looks better. Will see if it lasts.
