'66 Safari polish before/after
Well, it's taken a few weeks and weather permitting but finally wrapping up the coarse first pass of polishing the airstream. Still have to go back to some small areas and tight spaces around windows ect but at least my neighbors won't cringe at the sight of her in my driveway. We are all shocked at the difference it's made. Another few hours and then the tow bar is in for some serious rust removal and a paint job! I also have the original front dinette if anyone is interested. It's just the wood frame, doors, no cushions, no table. There's water damage at the bottom of one side. It has the slide curbside to make it a frame for a twin. Maybe someone wants to repair as it's still sturdy, just cosmetically damaged at the bottom of one side. Or use as a template.. If someone is interested I can post pics.
