'58 Flying Cloud- Clear Lens for Coronado Lights- HELP!

I just bought a 58 Flying Cloud that has all the upgrades. On all four sides it has round lights made by Coronado Mfg, four screws and 4 3/8' in diameter. Any ideas? I need four new lenses or something that might work! Help!

Do the lenses have 3 screws that hold them in the metal frame? From your description, they sound like modern "scare lights". Those lenses are available at any Airstream dealer, as well as many auto parts stores.

It might help if you post some pictures of your lights. I am not familiar with Coronado mfg lights.

Harry...What are "all the upgrades" you refer to? Like Uve said...send pictures and you will get lots of information. I use Ebay and the vintage auto parts...lighting section. You will find many items there.

This is the photo of the lights. I assume they were used for parking at night, security, etc. The AS is number 8493.

It appears to be mounted upside down?

I am very familier with that trailer fwiw - I've only seen those lenses once on e-bay, I know the PO of that trailer searched everywhere also - as I told her the only solution is to get some nice new stainless steel clear truck lights - they are available at any NAPA

Hi Ken, Hopefully I can find lenses that will fit, perhaps I can glue them in. Maybe later someday I will find prioper lenses, pop out the old and re-fit the correct lenses? Likely wishful thinking? I just cannot stand the thought of replacing the old lights that must be rare and fitting in generics. Uwe thought that these lights are unusual and maybe related to caravaners... Oh, I think my photos are upside down... Thoughts? Thanks again, Harry Temecula, Ca 951-901-5088

Harry - the good news and the bad news of the international models (I have one) is that they are/were high end - the bad news is I found a lot of stuff to be one off - so finding replacements is very difficult - although not impossible - I did see those lenses pop on e-bay a while back so they are out there - I'm sure someone might be able to custom make something - I don't think I would start gluing and the replacement generics require a larger hole - I'm sure with some good ol innovation, you can come up with something - If I remember right, the red lenses that fit that are easy to find

Still looking?

I need 4 of these lenses (clear-ish) for my 62 Tradewind. Along with 2 of the "wedding cake" red lenses. I've looked on vintage trailer supply, but I don't seem to find ones that are the right size and have the 4 holes. Any ideas?

I'm working on getting a small run of these made. I wanted to see if anyone else is in the same boat that might want in on it? I'm not planning to do anything but break even on it.
