I got a notice in the mail from Airstream today that talks about the same thing. I think this has been done before to increase their service business during the slow months.

I think they do this every winter. We always laugh when the notice comes because it's addressed to my hubby, even though he has nothing to do with MY trailer if he can help it! Also they're like 1000 miles away!

I suspect if one of these came in the mail Donna would hide it before I had a look at it.

If I/we can't do it ourselves then she figures it doesn't need doing unless it is something that could affect the quality of our vacations. The installation of a television being the exception.

Any time a firm has slow time is great to reel in the current user base and update/upgrade their equipment. Some will be moved to buy new after seeing them coming down the production line and others will decide to get more work done once the unit is already there so why travel back later? A good move on Airstreams part.

I am sure there are some of our Airstream buds who will appreciate knowing that there is an opportunity to get work done on their rigs and thus justify the rest of the journey to somewhere further south that equates to warm sunny winter days.

Hi, maybe "Rod" or "Andy" will do this too since Ohio is too far for some of us. And it's getting really cold at night now, like about 58 degrees! Buurrrrrrrrrr "Winter Special" Hey........Bellflower and Corona......Do we have contact?

If you need work done, and if they are convenient to you, I would take advantage of the deal. Everything they have done for me has been above my expectations. A fair deal at a discount would be attractive.

I'd have to agree. The service center did ok by me too.

What was the rate on service and parts discounts during this special? I didn't get one of those and I may plan future work to be done during these times since some of my plans are kind of pricey.

Smile Ohio work.

Hi All,
I was quite pleased with the Jackson Center work I had done two years ago late fall on the Excella; with only one OOPS on the disc brake installation that I fixed myself in my shop later on. We went to Ft Wayne to do geneology work for the four days they had the unit (only about 90 miles from Jackson Center -easy trip for a Westerner).

The main problem for us on that trip was dodging the snow and bad weather on the return home to Oregon.

Fall can be a bad time schedule-wise some years as many of the workers take off at harvest time.

I am with the others re Andy doing something similiar , but he is in the sun belt and I suspect Corona does not have the winter slow-down issues to the same extent as does Jackson Center.
