Who has done a shell off?

As I finished sealing up my new plywood floor today a thought came to me. Once I drop the shell back on the new chassis, I will belong to an elite club, the shelf off-ers.

I imagine that there are a good number of people who have accomplished this, but a very small number relative to all RV-ers.

So.. am I special or what?

Also, if any of you ladies want to do something special for my special moment, I love molasses cookies.

Yep. You're Special.

The club is pretty thin now, but a few years ago its seems like half the people here were in the muddle of a shell off restoration.

How about a its-not-too-late club? I'm right there, just a few interior liner panels, bolts and stand the shell up and walk the frame out... It is real tempting.
