I purchased a 5 flag unit and 3 poles from Pole-Ease. I had looked at cranking up the welding machine and fabricating the holder and looked into all the suggestions for alternative poles. In the end it was easier and cheaper to use Pole-Ease. The flag poles are very nicely designed and easy to stow.

Jim - The poles are 12 feet long, where do you store them?

They slide into themselves, 3 sections if I remember correctly. I stow them behind the front gaucho. Very nice.

Hi Richard,

The poles are from Home Depot paint section.....2 pc aluminum (of course) and IIRC are extendable from 6'-11'.

The pole holder mounts on the front of the tongue jack, so the front window does not hit it.

Got mine from Pole Ease. Great product and Great service. The extendable poles are very strong. Biggest task was finding polished stainless steel muffler clamps for mounting. Also purchased the flag pole storage box, on sale, from Airstream and mounted just in front of the entry door. This storage box also doubles as a nice fishing pole storage.

Just received my 5 flag holder made by Rob Baker of Robandzoe. If I were to rate it on a scale of 1-10 for build quality , it's a 12 or 15. Extremely well built and in my opinion under priced. Rob if you read this, raise your price. What a bargain. Seldom do you get more than what you pay for, but I truly am impressed.

Rob does a great job on these, and I totally agree with craftsman......they are way overbuilt and waaaaaayyyyy under-priced.

Thanks for such a great item Rob!!!!!

Very nice flag display. How did you get your middle flag to clear the electric hitch. I have a 3 hole version of Rob Bakers flag bracket for my 25' International and it looks like I will only be able to have flags on either side of the hitch head.

Jot,

Turn the hitch head 90 degrees.

Thanks. I didn't know you could do that. Is that a fairly simple operation for an obvious Newbie?

I have the pole-eaze, and it works well. I just used muffler clamps from Autozone, and some duplicolor t-183 paint to match the banana skins..presto. I fly the Stars and Stripes, and a fire department flag, where ever I am.

5 FLAGS...What flags would (do) you fly?

I saw some really great Airstreams at the Texas Vintage Rally last week. Many had flags a' wavin' in the breeze. A beautiful site. I'm at a loss as to what flags I'd fly. Whats your idea on the subject? I like all of "Lewsters' ."
I would use a Texas flag in addition.

There should be 3 or so set screws on the jack head. loosenthose, rotate the head, and re-tighten.

Rob- that Sovereign of yours is a real beauty. I just got one of your 3 flag brackets that Im looking forward to installing after I rotate the electric jack head so I'll have room. Although our Airstream is new, Im a big VAP fan. Keep up the good work. Finally, between your references to Quantico and your flag, I take it you are a Marine. My son is a 1st Lt just returning from Iraq and very much looking forward to his first trip with our 25' International.
