Post Where do I find these parts?

I am in the process of fixing up a '76 27 foot Excella. I need to find a few parts & haven't had much luck at the local RV store, so I thought I'd ask the experts for their suggestions. I need: The power indicator on the control panel for the water pump (bulb is burned out, but the unit is like a plug), a towel bar for the bathroom (I'd like to keep it as original as possible) and a pilot light oriface (the hole in this one seems too big & the pilot burns a bit larger than the hubby would like). The guy at the RV store says they don't make these anymore, so I need to find an old one or something! Otherwise, I think we need to replace the whole pilot light assembly. Thanks for your help!

Becky,

Call Ron, at South Jersey RV. His number is 856-697-9600. He's a great guy to talk to, and if he doesn't have the part, he'll steer you in the right direction.

I have just become the owner of a 1957 22' Flying Cloud. It has been setting for 30-years. It is in good condition, but I have to tow it 1500 miles to get it home before I can begin the restoration process. One of my concerns about it is the possible need for new wheel bearings. Does anyone have any recomendations as to where I might be able to buy a new set for this Airstream model?

You most likely do not need new wheel bearings, just a good cleaning and repacking should do it. However if you need new ones, should not be difficult to match up at a local NAPA dealer.

If its been sitting for 30 years, it probably has its original split rim wheels which should be replaced.

Many of us, including me have replaced our old vintage axles/wheels etc to be on the safe side as well as giving us all new running gear.

Welcome to the forums!
