I had forgotten about this thread until another member started a new thread asking close to the same question. OSB stands for "Oriented Strand Board" (which we called "chip board" when I was a kid).
I will ask again: if you haven't already post the info (and you have OSB flooring info), please let me know your year and model of AS TT and I will do a summary next month.

So if I understand Airstreams response Aage, they have not used OSB
since 2007 except for two (unspecified) models. So it is still possible to find it in a 2007. No safe harbor that.

I will add to my prior posts that I have now personally seen a 1993 Airstream trailer with OSB, making my personally confirmed range 1985 to 1993 for OSB, with 1994 confirmed plywood.

I recently posted about significant floor rot and mold from water damage in my '06 16' Bambi CCD (see thread below). The trailer is still at the shop, but the pics make me wonder if it's OSB. I'll update once I find out.
As a wannabe, I find this discussion very enlightening. We're trying to decide whether to buy an older used unit with the idea of doing a shell-off or to buy newer. Sounds to me like buying older and putting in the floor that you KNOW is sound is the way to go. Are there any serious weight penalties for replacing the OSB or plywood with a composite material like Trex or Nylodeck?

So far (and I have yet to tabulate all the data) the only safe means to see if you are potentially buying a TT with an OSB subfloor seems to be to poke around in it to check for yourself.
Luckily, I don't think it would take much looking to confirm one way or another.

My 1995 34' Excella has plywood. My 2009 SOB that it replaced did not. It is waiting on some OSB repairs before I sell it. The Excella is in better shape, (except for the sagging padded ceiling) even though it is 14 years older.
