I like the AS I bought. I only have repaired the things that need fixing. Soon I will have to replace the fridg. We did replace the old dirty carpet with vinyl. I had to replace the black and grey drain valves. The exterior I just wash and wax yearly.

i guess that answers that question ? i like both but my way is to refurbish. just don't want to live in the 50s. i have my own needs that weren't answered in the 57 interior of the bubble. i have my own likes and dislikes, one being orange formica . as long as your happy, your happy? roger
