What to use to seal lower trim line

What would you recommend to seal the lower trim line? In one area towards the front of our AS, the outer aluminum has pulled away from the trim line a small amount and needs sealing. The carpet at the foot of our bed was damp right in the same area after two days of rain. It smells slightly musty, but the floor feels solid. Can we just use clear silicone? I've heard of a product called Acryl-R (or something like that!), but we would like to take care of this tomorrow and I'm not sure if the Acryl is available locally. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I used SikaFlex the first time around the rear of the AS, but after that I used Parrbond on the belt molding. I think I like it better and it seems to last longer.

Here is one place:

Parbond

Use painter's tape on the skin and the top horizontal surface of the molding for a sharp crisp neat 1/16" to 1/8" bead. smooth with your finger ONLY ONE TIME. It skins fast. Work about 2' at a time. Pull tape every 4 - 6' of completed seal. Again, it skins fast.

Hi, We just purchased a 2007 Safari 75th special addition. Pulled it from Tucson to NW Washington and went through 4 snowstorms, one blizzard and lots of elevation changes. Long story short, all of the lower belt trim started to fall off. It appears it had been attached with a silicone sealer type bead and I suppose the temperature change plus age caused it to lose its grip.
Does anyone know what the factory method of attaching was (is)? Should I just use the Parrbond to re-attach all of it?
Any other suggestions? Nail gun (just kidding)
