Sorry, I guess I didn't specify what in the photo I was asking about! Haha!
it's the metal half round thing on the left wall, it has a metal shelf bracket to support it and a metal plate to secure it to the wall...

Oh! Yes, that is quite the contraption... Can you strap a bottle of wine or beer in there to keep it safe while washing your hands?

I think a small container... It's about 7 inches wide. If you look at the back of it it has 2 holes attached to it.... Maybe to tie it down for transport???

Have you considered asking the PO what this is? It definitely does not look like anything commercially made, therefore it likely is some Rube Goldberg affair he kludged together.

Good idea, but i think it was a mod made by the first or second po, the guy we bought it from didn't ever camp in it, and wanted to keep things original. It sure is strange ....

Looks to me like a ski jump for the mice that will eventually invade your trailer ... but I could be wrong, of course!

Maybe since it's in the bathroom, it held some container of water that you would heat on the stove, and then it would provide hot water at a height from which you could have a basic shower?

It definitely has some small holes on the end and top from which a piece surely hooked over or tied over to hold the object secure. And the perfect hemispherical shape makes me thing it was a barrel/ jug/etc.

I like the keg idea best though.
