It is bolted onto the bumper bathroom side and all connecting wires have been cut some time ago.
Didn't affect running lights when towing from Tennessee last year, all exterior lights work fine.

Thoughts?

Looks like a terminal block for a telephone hook up. If so, your trailer probably had a land line telephone installed at one time.

I will remove this barnacle and take a closer look for markings. The tiny wires coming off do look like telephone gauge wires. Never thought of that.

It was rendered obsolete by the Maxwell Smart shoe phone.

I guess having a phone installed shouldn't be a surprise since I was told this trailer was ordered as a park model. No phone jack inside though, so likely a PO install and ran wire through a window.
