Wanted to touch up some rust spots on the TT frame/tongue and curious if anyone can tell me the color, or where to get some touch up spray to match. I was hoping it would match Rustoleum Anodized Bronze, but the color is more of a bluish dark gray. Any suggestions?
A close match (not exact) is dark pewter from Rustoleum. If you don;t like that, there is a color called midnight gunmetal (I think from Krylon, I didn't look close at the can), that is also close.

The actual Airstream color is called Pewter Gray. You can also use the color Dupont Metallic Gray which i like better. Both colors are available as touch-up spray paint through your Airstream dealer for about $15 for a 12oz spray can. It is a quality automotive paint. I used the Dupont Metallic Gray to paint my Hensley hitch too. Check out the photo...
Well since this popped up again, thanks to slowolf for the tip. My tongue is free of crust & rust and lickin clean with a new coat of Pewter Grey. The Airstream doctor extracted $19 for that can of paint. Ouch!
I too used the Airstream Pewter Grey, but probably won't next time as $20 is too steep for 12 oz, and I have little left. To add yet another choice, local experts in my WBCCI unit say a good substitute is "Tool Box Grey" from Krylon, under $5 a can. I'm sure they are thinking their trailers, which are almost all vintage; don't know if the color changed over the years.

I used a hammer tone metalic black from Ace Hardware on my bumper. It really looks like a charcoal. I know it isn't the original '66 color but it sure looks good. So good I think I will use it on the tongue too.
