we need your help

Seems just we were starting to re-hab our "new/old" Argosy, the guy that owns the place where it is parked, has decided not to let us do any major repairs. He is not charging us any rent so I guess he can do as he pleases. While I'm grateful for the place to park it, I would like to be able to work on it and get it ready to use and enjoy.

Our question is: Is there any one out there reasonably local that can help with that situation? Or does anyone wish to maybe buy it from us at a real good deal? Or maybe trade for a small SOB like a tent trailer of similar value?

Purhaps a mutual deal like I help you in return for a spot to work on mine?
WE are open to whatever feedback we can get on this, I/we don't really want to part with our Argy, but I am open to suggestions.

I am disabled and she works her tail off keeping us going, so we really can't afford much in rent. So a barter situation would be great. I have cabinetry skills and electronics skills to bring to such a party if needed. But I would seriously consider any proposals.

Thank you all in advance for your time.

any thoughts?

thanks , Dan and Sherry W.

Is the trailer towable? Is is registered so it can be towed? Do you have something to tow it?
I'm thinking store it at the free spot, and tow it somewhere a couple times a month to where you can work on it. Maybe one of those "rent a space" workshops where you could rent a stall (or space outside) on a per-day basis.

Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.

Overlander.. Yes it can be towed....I have a TV. I do need to license it first but that's no prob. My real problem is where to take it...I haven't found a rent a shop place that I can afford. I can do minorrepairs on site, but like removing the appliances to repair and re-plumb is not do as to make the needed repairs I am at a lose.

I haven't completely thrown in the towel, but I must say I am rather discouraged at present.

Thank you for such a quick response, and I will keep looking at other options as well.

Plan B

Well, after much soul searching and down-right defiance, we decided to work with what we have. If we can't do the full-meal-deal at this time, we will get the basics done ( water, LP, sewer) now and then do what we can as we can untill our situations change in the near future. First the tanks and go from there.

A world class cleaning, systems checks and a camping we will go!!!!

Thank you all for giving me a chance to vent my frustrations. Feel free to vent in my direction as needed.

Don't give up!! I am starting Plan B myself. I am determined to use our AS be for the kids have kids (#1 Kid is 9 yrs old). So I am going to do just the same. Make it safe/clean. A little paint. Then water/heat/plumbing/Lights/Beds/cabinets/table/etc... When time and money allow.
Ever camped in an Aluminum Tent with wheels?
Good Luck and keep working at it!
