GOUSC -

You are one of the rare ones that posts a problem and then tells us how it was resolved!

Thanks for not leaving us "hanging"

Pat

No problem. I don't mind telling the ending, even if it make me look like an idiot. Just trying to save some frustration for the next person. It was kinda funny the way it turned out.

Toilet Paper Roller Recovery

Was bummed about our roller taking a dive into the bottomless pit of the bathroom cabinet. You read about these things and you think it can never happen to you.

And then, instead of being the reader, you become the victim.

Had a rubber-coated magnet used for holding things under the driver's seat. Tied to a long piece of string, I figured it might pull the roller up if the spring inside was ferrous metal. Bingo! In less than a minute we were made whole again!

Gonna use the other poster's idea about using that gap for TP storage so we don't have to repeat that heartbreak all over again.

Here's another thread where someone solved by stuffing the mouth of the bottomless pit. https://www.airforums.com/forums/f54...ml#post2683530

A YouTube'r shared a tip they got of cutting a pool noodle and placing it over the crack to prevent it from happening. Haven't tried it but have had to replace the original.

edit: guess I should of click SuperTrouper's link as I see it addresses the pool noodle solution.
