Water Hoses

I don't know if this belongs here or in some other bracket. I will assume the forum bosses will flip it if it needs to move.

I just returned from a three-week trip with our AS. The only source of annoyance on the whole trip was the water hose we use to hook up in RV parks. I have bought several and looked in a bunch more RV supply stores. What I am seeking is a potable water hose with two characteristics.

1) It can be coiled without kinking, even in cooler weather (we were on the Washington coast and it was just cold enough to stiffen the hose on those early morning departures for the next stop), and:

2) I want machined brass end fittings, not the stamped junk that is on every hose I have yet tried (and I got my first RV in the late 1970s). They get banged around or stepped on and they're then leak producers. I have cut the cheapo ends off my hoses and replaced them with machined brass ones from Lowe's or Home Depot, but then you have big hose clamp right behind the end that's pretty good at lacerating your hands (particularly when it's cold). I have tried using PEX clamps and they're better, but then you can only use 1/2-inch hose. I would really like one manufactured that way from scratch.

I'm not overly concerned about price. I take care of my stuff and if it is a high quality product, it'll last more than long enough to justify the initial price.

Anybody have any ideas where one of these hoses might be lurking?

Thanks

Found it. Read it once quickly, will go back and read it carefully later today.
Thanks again.
