Do you have to go to a dealership for warranty work? I am looking at a 2017 used one so I won't be buying from a dealer. With the two year warranty wIll I be last in line at a dealership or can I take it to my regular rv service shop
Thanks not enough to change my mind just asking. Thanks for the info
Stuart
Hi Stuart and welcome. You should talk with the factory. I believe they can complete the 2 year warranty with you for something like $250 transfer fee. And you would want to use an AS dealer for everything unique to the AS - a local RV place could handle all the "commodity" items (water heater, stove, AC, etc.).
Like it or not, a number of dealerships make *more* money on service than on new vehicle sales. That's true of cars, trucks, and RV's. Once you get out of "high season" RV dealers start looking for every dollar they can bring in ....
