I find walbernize very good too - especially like that it comes off so easily even when used in sunshine, which I know isn't the best thing to do.
I haven't tried it on the aluminum on our galley wall, but wouldn't hesitate to do so. I wouldn't expect any problem.
One thing I did learn though was not to use Walbernize on the lower rock guards - unless there is some trick I don't know.
I think they are stainless, and the walbernize left them very streaky. What i use on them now and it seems to work well is just good old WD-40.
