Vista Views

I have gasket problems with my vista views. It seems the rubber gasket has shrank and leaked over the years. It also seems that theymight have been double paned at one time but not now. Can I buynew gaskets, should I just caulk inside and out, should I try to make them double paned again? I also have a few wires coming out of the wall behind the fridge spot, anyone know what these are for?

You should have had double pane glass Vista Views, there is a slight chance if your unit was an early 1975 that you had the snap in plastic inner panes. If you have single glass and thy have a rubber gasket around them you probably had the snap in version. I have cut back the gasket on the outside with a very sharp razor knife then taped and caulked them vulkem with reasonable sucess.
