Exclamation used airstream parts

F.Y.I., If anyone needs airstream parts check with Bob's rv used parts.Located in high springs,fl,about 15 miles from Gainesville, off I-75.phone number is 386-454-5733.Last time I was there, they had apx.ten or twelve airstreams in thier salvage yard. Most appeared to be late 70's to mid 80's with one 03 or 04.They also sell a/c units, awnings, and some furniture, they strip most of the trailers out,and put the parts into storage sheds. They also have a connection to a guy in Alabama they has some airstream parts.I'am not sure, but believe they ship stuff out too.

He doesn't have a website, but the link above does show his address and phone number. I've gotten stuff from them, they are pretty reasonable. You get to roam the yard to find stuff, but leave your tools at home. You find it, go up front and give them the trailer, and they will go out and pull it for you. Be advised, they are only open till noon on Saturday.

I have been thinking of getting a larger window for the back, curb side of our 23. More light and a moden look. Florida is quite a distance. Would rather find a place nearby to actually see what I was getting. Something to think about.

Howdy. On Ebay, a salvage guy (bigman2x4x8 in Belmont NC) has been selling (oops, auctioning, since few actually were bought) parts from a wrecked AS. His auction for the complete door ended with no bids. He might put it up again. His auction for the door was eBay Motors: 76 Airstream Complete Entrance Door w/Screen Door & Key (item 150107889197 end time Apr-07-07 05:18:37 PDT)

He has had auctions for windows, etc. and is currently offering "skins" for $100 each piece eBay Motors: 76 Airstream Skin panels (item 150107900312 end time Apr-10-07 06:17:24 PDT). No takers yet that I know of, though.

Good luck. You didn't say where you were, but Forum Member Balrgn, in New Hampshire, had been parting out an Argosy. He might have parts left (The Airstream Projects).
