TRIMAX™ TCL65 Adjustable Wheel Lock

Does anyone have experience with these wheel lock/chocks? they are sold by Cabelas. We are looking for options to increase security.

I have one and use it. You would need to install locking lug nuts for it to be effective. Make sure to buy the size for a trailer tire. It works pretty good, the clearance between the brake drum and the rim is really tight on my trailer, so I can't clamp it as much as I would like, but I can still get it on there satisfactory.

Because we leave the campsite for days at a time and backpack, I like this and use it. If we were the type that stays around the trailer, I might not use it much. Also we store the trailer in a secure storage unit and I don't use it there. If we stored in a open lot with more public access, I would probably use it there for sure.

I had one for my Camp-Inn teardrop trailer. Rarely used it and that trailer would have been easy to haul away. But the chances are slim that someone would try and haul away your 31ft AS. I've een here on the forum for several years and have only seen a couple of reported thefts. And only a few breakins.
