Trailer Repair In Alabama

I've seemed to have lost the phone number for Trailer Repair run by Sonny Hare in Alabama, a place with acreage of used Airstream for parts, anyone here have the number handy? Thanks.

I don't have that phone number, but we got a letter recently that Dandy RV in Anniston, AL is now an airstream dealer...

I found the number, they specialize in vintage parts and in used parts, the number is 205-665-2531 located in Montevallo, Alabama. Thanks again, I now just hope that they are still in business.

Camper Repair in Montavallo has some airstream parts. A couple of storage barns full of new parts but not "acres of used Airstreams for parts". He seems to have LOTS of window assemblies still in the Airstream boxes. I got the impression that his parts are new - old stock from the 1980's and 1990's. Sonny Hare doesn't consider them vintage parts. I find the best way to contact Sonny is to phone him then follow up with a fax detailling your request. Don't load him up with a long list, just a few items at a time. Sonny is a bit overwhelmed since his father died a couple years ago (Dad ran the business). I haven't seen anything being repaired in the few times I've been there, I think that was more his Dad's special specialty.

Thanks for the correction. When I spoke to Sonny last he made it seem that he had acreage of old parts, so on that note, thanks again, I'll try him tomorrow.

I was at Sonny's last week. He has several warehouses full of Airstream parts. He is incredibly knowledgeable but very busy. The phone is constantly ringing with requests. He gave me some great advice on some things that I need to do for my '53 Clipper but he didn't have the door handle I needed. Does anyone out there know where I can get the door lock assembly for my trailer? Regular ones and RV door locks don't work. I am getting discouraged. Maybe I should not post this here since it is off the thread?

Just got off the phone with Sonny. He seems to be a real nice, down to earth, person. Can't wait to go visit his warehouse and look through.
