Tinbad troubles:

Hi all:
been full timing in Tinbad for two weeks now, working out the bugs and building the "Air-Theme" interior(Safari) to the barn where he "resides".
Problem #1: I've been giving the BW/GW serious flushes with one of those hose adaptors at discharge pipe and slowly working the scum build up from previous owners. And low and behold a "pin hole" in GW tank dead center bottom of tank developed (leaks only when near far)-no sign of having scraped bottom).
Can I patch or should I replace tank?
Problem #2: Got Hot water boiler to work properly once AC in wiring corrected (bad electrician). BUT: The water seems to get way too hot before going off (LPG only system) AND a leak starts to come out of FWD portside wheel well at some point later in the heating cycle.
Investigation shows the leak may develop somewhere under the toilet. There is evidence of past leak in this area as floor between stove and toilet is slightly warped but still "sounds" firm and un-rotted when tapped with rubber mallet.
Is there a "relief valve" under the toilet or do you concur that the pressure is too much for some connection under toilet. How the heck to access this area with out major dismantling of interior/fridge removal etc. Could the thermostat require replacing? All of above?
Thanks for your time:
Tinbad the Trailer and Del.
