The pressure switch is mounted on the pump. It will have 2 wires connected; one is the +12 volt; the other goes to the pump motor.
You should see 12 volts on one of the wires if the on/off switch is on.

Thanks for all the replies. It's amazing what you can learn when you tear something apart!

Found a diagram of the pump/switch combo on the internet. Took off the switch, appears to operate freely. Started taking apart the pump portion and noted the bearings appeared corroded and seized. Took off the motor end cap, and it appears that water had crept its way in there as well.

Time for a new motor/pump. $155 on amazon. Not the 20 cent fix I was hoping for. But, livin' and learnin'. God is good!

Be one of the easier, cheaper fixes you will have over the life of the trailer, I expect. I have put 3 pumps into my 2 trailers over the last 8 years. It could be that whoever winterized it missed the pump. One of my repairs was a pump was damaged by a PO who lived in Vermont and did not winterize his first year. I knew it had frozen and been partially repaired before I bought the trailer so I have no complaint.

Thanks for giving us the solution to the problem smokinjoe. It gives everyone that gave friendly advice closure. So often we never find out what the cause was to the problem. So start planning your next adventure. I here that Disney's Fort wilderness is awesome, for kids of all ages. Might make a great Christmas gift for everyone.

You can find a pump that is less than $155.

Replaced the pump and it appears to work just fine now. Cycles on and off quite a few times if the water is running. I'm guessing this is common.

It is common for the pump to cycle or just straight run if you have faucet/faucets open. If it cycles with faucets closed there is probably a leak somewhere in the system......

I added an accumulator tank (see http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...eel-tank/14747 ) and the cycling is reduced - as well, there is no surging of the water flow, especially when showering.
