I talked to fantastic fan when I first got my airstream. Had some questions about reversing the fan direction. The tech was VERRY willing to walk me through the procedure. I didn't doit because I felt like I was keeping him. He still insisted. I said maybe later. With that kind of bend over backwards helping I would not buy any other brand. Even if they were free I will never leave fantastic fan.. Customer for life here!

So after two conversations with the best guy in the world Bob Barret...

He had me on the roof cutting the lead wires to the motor to test to make sure it worked. Told me to get the quick connects to connect it back up.

Then inside to do the short wire test to the speed switch - hm might have done the reverse on that but none the less it was determined it was the speed switch.

Does not end front fan speed switch was wonky and the speeds were all over the place - "the springs are touching - so yep un-separated them and works fine.

My garnish in the front now has 3 of the 4 corners cracked at the screws. New one on the way.

Put my finger through the back screen trying to get it off - new one on the way.

Annoyed to know end when I was working on these fans with the screw type screen in the front - though hm wonder if the snap in one fits - yes it does - new one on the way...

Mentioned that my endless breeze motor makes funny noises annoys me at night - have it running for the fur-baby on the floor - all the time. HA - new one on the way.

All coming this week NO CHARGE NO SHIPPING either. You just can't get this kind of service. So I offered for him to put in a bunch of brochures and I will give them to the camp owner here for his customers. Maybe they can get a few orders out of the deal.

Soon to be a breezy happy camper again....
Everything will be alright in the end. If it is not alright now, then it is not the end.

You see, this is why I love this forum! I was debating which vent fans to buy and you all have made the decision easy. Thanks!

Yes. My rain sensing fan lids on my 04 ccd were sticking closed due to sticky seals. I tried silicon spray but still would stick. Called FF, spoke to a tech, they are sending out new seals and no cost.
Pretty damn fantastic.

Fantastic service to me. One of the plastic wheels that allow you to manually raise the cover is cracked. I called them up and explained and they immediately sent me a replacement plus some other goodies.

I am astounded at their approach and service. I would never, ever consider another vent. I am now even a more loyal customer. On top of the service, the product works extremely well and is high quality.

Fans now working!

Finally got around to installing the parts Fantastic Fan sent me at no charge, had a question about wiring the speed switch, called them, and got an instant answer. Both fans now working! Called the Ventline people for a broken handle and a gasket(it's leaking) for my bathroom fan and they seemed annoyed when I didn't have the part number. I described the fan but that wasn't good enough. So far not happy with them.

I just did an uninstall, clean up and reinstall of a FF on my 05 CCD. I guess you have to do that occasionally to if it leaks. Anyway everything went well right up until I tried to turn the fan on after the reinstall. Now the fan doesn't turn on... How do I contact FF?

I have the same glowing report for FF - I wanted to replace the on/off switch with the reverse switch - Bob gave me the phone number of where to order the switches ($25 each), when they came, he talked me through the installation.

As well, one of my trim rings was cracked - due to the tech trying to make a straight trim ring curve - Bob sent me two new ones with curves especially for Airstream roofs! I did have to pay shipping but you lucky owners who have units after 2008 get free shipping!
