Suggestions For Rear Bumper!!?

Hi Guys

Any suggestions for repairing this banana wrap that connects to the bumper? This seems like a difficult part to track down. Will need to fix once bumper is straight.

Nope, they "Pop" Rivet into place. May need to Remove some Trim... Don't forget to use proper "sealant"!!! No SILICONE!!

Pull the wrap off and straighten that baby out. Should be fairly soft Aluminum and easily manipulated.

Before you put things back together check the flooring just inside the back of the trailer. That is a very common place for rot because of the way the sheet metal goes in under the floor and conveys water to the bottom of the floor.

Yes that seal under the banana strip is critical to sealing when you are done.

I have a '48 Tradewind without any bumper and made one using aluminum "C" channel for brackets and 2" aluminum tubing (2" ID) bent to the 7' trailer radius adding a 2" stand-off (7' 4" radius overall). Two tubes which I use to store the 1-1/2" sewer and gray water line with quick disconnects.

Why not GET RID OF IT. Never seen that before. Mine has a corner there. Looks like that is just a water funnel. Leaks are a problem back there as it is. That plate that holds the hinge for that lid is a problem. Water hits it and goes into the floor of the trailer.
